Understanding Psychology Course Selection Synopsis Are you a curious person? Do you ever wonder “WHY” people think and act the way they do? You might want to consider “Understanding Psychology.” Essentially, Psychology is the scientific study of human behavior and mental processes. This course strives to make psychology fun, interesting and approachable. This course is a staple for any student wanting to work within a social arena. It is the perfect blend of history, social sciences and biology. We will explore the various approaches to Psychology; the life span, the workings of the mind and body as well as learning and cognitive processes. We will explore current information regarding case studies. You must come with an open mind, a good work ethic and a willingness to take part in small group discussions.
